ASST Institute

A society is the union of individuals into a whole, a transformation from individual processes to large processes, from individual cases to systems. But what happens when a whole is divided by conflicts of different levels? How do the individual parts behave – do they form a new whole? Or does a part break up into even smaller parts? And how do the pieces deal with their history?

The aim of the association and the Institute for Transitional Studies, an internationally renowned research and education center in Zurich, Switzerland, is to examine the interactions and processes of societies and to make their results available to practice.

When Dr. Jesenko Tesan the founder of ASST Institute stepped into our studio in 2017 asking us to create the identity and logo for his upcoming formation of the ASST Institute, we where immediately hooked up by his charming and open minded spirit and we fell in love with his mission and research. He asked us to somehow use the beautiful but yet symbolic Stari Most bridge in Bosnia Herzegovina when working on the logo and we integrated the bridge with its distinct shape in the middle of the A.
